What If...Your One Biggest Fear Was Wiped Away?

What if....
A series of articles about building a better world: starting with your street, my city, and communities around the globe.

What if your one biggest fear was wiped away.

Never mind how...it is just...gone.

No more tummy churning, no more pounding in your chest.
No more headaches.

No more avoidance, no more paralysis, no more excuses...just action.

What would you be able to do if your one biggest fear was wiped away?

Climb a mountain and look down at the view without fear of falling

Let go of guilty feelings and let them fly away in the wind

Go to a crowded fair and enjoy the art, music, and fresh air

Drive cross country without a plan and journal what and who you met

What would you want to do if your one biggest fear was wiped away?

    Make a new friend

    Share a secret

    Start a business

    Enter a 5K and finish

What would you do if your one biggest fear was wiped away?

Say, "I'm sorry, will you forgive me?"

    Laugh more

    Volunteer my help

    Speak out against injustice

    Radically complement good deeds

My biggest fear is that people will not like me.
If my biggest fear were wiped away I would be able to go to public gatherings.
If my biggest fear were wiped away I would want to go to the park with my children.
If my biggest fear were wiped away I would share openly and lovingly with others.

Life is so short.
None of us know when we are going to leave for good.

What if we exit tomorrow?

Would that make a difference in what we do today?
Should it make a difference?

If your fear is like mine...and the worst thing that can happen is that God will still love you in the end...maybe love you even more...use your power now and push open that fear.
Scatter that fear.
Obliterate it.
Scribble all over it.
Smash it.
And leave it in the dust.
Now walk over and take that dream off the shelf.
And do it.
God will still love you in the end.
Maybe you'll love Him more in the end too.

I have quite a few fears I'm working through. I like how you said "and the worst that can happen is God will still love you in the end". A good thought to focus on in the context of working through fears.
